The co-founders of Honor the Earth 27 years ago -- Winona LaDuke and the Indigo Girls -- are pleased to announce a special concert performance on the banks of the Mississippi River, at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 28, with limited seating capacity of 250 people. A Livestream of the event will be available over Honor the Earth, and Welcome Water Protectors Center on Facebook. A donation at the event and online is recommended.

JOIN THE LIVE STREAM IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND.

The concert will support the work of Honor the Earth and Water Protectors to safeguard the waters and wild rice of Minnesota from Line 3, Enbridge’s largest tar sands pipeline project in the world.  Despite massive opposition, Enbridge was granted all permits, and the Minnesota state Court of Appeals recently affirmed Enbridge’s Line 3 work. Thus far, over 500 people have been arrested opposing the pipeline, while Enbridge continues to move ahead through an immensely destructive corridor of the north country, supported by an exceptionally large police and security force.

“WE STAND WITH THE WATER PROTECTORS FIGHTING THIS TOXIC, UNNECESSARY, DESTRUCTIVE PIPELINE,” PROCLAIM INDIGO GIRLS AMY RAY AND EMILY SALIERS

"NO TAR SANDS PIPELINE THROUGH TREATY-PROJECTED ANISHINAABE LAND!”
