On April 1st frontline Indigenous youth and organizers from the Dakota Access and Line 3 pipeline fights will travel to Washington D.C. to demand that President Biden Build Back Fossil Free by stopping these climate-destroying projects.
Five years ago on April 1st, the Sacred Stone Camp was founded and history was made as thousands of people descended to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Frontline youth and organizers from Dakota Access and Line 3 pipeline are in D.C and our demand is clear:
Joe Biden (@potus), it's time to #BuildBackFossilFree-- Shut Down DAPL and Stop Line 3. For too long, Indigenous communities have been forced to bear the burden of society's addiction to fossil fuels and the devastating impacts on our land, sky, and water. It's time to honor our treaties that have been ignored and shut down DAPL and stop Line 3.

"Since the public comment line is closed, Iβm calling to urge President Biden to revoke permits for oil and gas pipelines like Dakota Access and Line 3, and stop approving all new fossil fuel projects. If the President is serious about addressing the climate crisis, he must keep fossil fuels in the ground and invest in the communities that have borne the brunt of pollution and climate disaster.β
